For hot shot carriers with 2 to 10 trucks
Hotshot fleet dispatch: one desk for every truck you run
Once you have a second truck, dispatching stops being a side job. Our hotshot fleet dispatch runs every unit from one desk, keeps CDL and non-CDL trucks on freight that fits, and sends you one weekly report broken out by truck. Fleets pay 6% per truck while the limited-time rate lasts.
6%
of gross, on every truck, from 2 trucks
Single trucks pay 7%. No setup fee, month to month.

Fleet workflow
How we dispatch a hotshot fleet
- 01
One desk, every truck
Each truck has its own profile: ratings, deck, lanes, home time and minimum rate. One dispatch team works all of them.
- 02
No trucks chasing the same load
We plan the fleet as a whole, so two of your units never bid against each other on one posting.
- 03
Freight matched to each unit
Heavy and full-deck freight goes to the CDL rigs; light partials and vehicles go to the non-CDL units.
- 04
Approvals the way you run it
Offers come to you for approval, or straight to the drivers you authorize. Your call, set per truck.
- 05
Reloads planned across the map
When one truck delivers near another's pickup, we use it. Fewer empty miles across the fleet.
Onboarding is the same as for one truck, done once per unit; the onboarding steps list the documents.
Drivers
Planning around each driver, not just each truck
A fleet's trucks are only as available as the people driving them. Every driver profile carries their home time, the hours they have left on their clock, and any freight they won't haul. A load that works for the truck but would break a driver's hours of service or keep them out past a promised weekend doesn't get offered.
Check calls go to whoever you choose: you, the driver, or both. Brokers get one consistent contact from our desk for status updates, which keeps your company looking organized when three of your trucks are under the same broker in one week.
When a driver is sick or a truck is down, tell us once. We pull that unit from the board, tell any broker with a pending load, and shift what we can to the rest of the fleet.
Fleet rate
What 6% per truck works out to
At $5,000 of weekly gross per truck (an EXAMPLE figure), here is the weekly fee at the fleet rate next to what the same trucks would pay at the single-truck 7%. Full terms are on the pricing page.
| Trucks | Fee at 6% | At 7% | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | $600 | $700 | $100 / week |
| 3 | $900 | $1,050 | $150 / week |
| 5 | $1,500 | $1,750 | $250 / week |
| 10 | $3,000 | $3,500 | $500 / week |
Hot shot carriers adding trucks
Growing from one truck to a hotshot fleet
Each truck needs freight. A second truck doubles the calls, the broker setups and the reload planning. That is usually the point where owner-operators stop driving and dispatching at once.
Each truck changes the paperwork. Insurance schedules, driver files and drug testing for CDL drivers all grow with the fleet. Our guide to starting a hotshot business walks through the registrations.
Each broker relationship counts more. Brokers who trust one of your trucks will load the others. Read how to vet hotshot freight brokers before you commit a fleet to them, or start from what hotshot trucking is if you're hiring drivers new to it.
FAQ
Fleet dispatch questions
What counts as a fleet for the fleet rate?
Two or more trucks under your authority on dispatch with us. Every truck then runs at 6% of gross, the first one included. The fleet rate is limited-time.
Can you dispatch CDL and non-CDL trucks in the same fleet?
Yes. Each truck keeps its own ratings in its profile, so a non-CDL unit never gets a load that would put it over 26,000 lb, and the CDL rigs get the heavier freight. Check any unit in the GCWR and CDL checker.
What is a hot shot carrier?
A hot shot carrier is a trucking company with its own USDOT number and operating authority that hauls freight for hire with heavy-duty pickups or medium-duty trucks and flatbed, gooseneck or car-hauler trailers. A carrier can be one owner-operator or a fleet. Our guide on what hotshot trucking is covers the basics.
Do you handle more than 10 trucks?
This page is built around fleets of 2 to 10. If you run more, apply and pick 11+ trucks; we will talk through how the desk would cover your units before you commit to anything.
